What Next???
Four junior Shearites (Sheares Hall) who just recently graduated from NUS signed up for work and travel at Alaska (dream cruise hor - I wanna go too!!!) Haiz, they will get to see the beautiful natural side of our Earth and me having started work, won't even get to see Sakura until I retire from teaching liao! That's why people always say must try out stuff while we are young while we can afford it. Haiz does that mean I am too old for that liao??? =(
And two of them even had the chance to go on a road trip to Canada, a beautiful country! (I did my student exchange there, really really really superb country!) Road trips are really fun, especially with friends...the roads in Canada are mostly quite wide, I mean the freeway lah but some drive dangerously fast. Anyhow at 25 kph or mph (I am not sure), one was driving and the other possibly asleep behind, caught unaware when a swerve to avoid a oncoming car toppled the car...
Without any signs of external injury, the one behind bade us farewell. Two of my friends' friends in a short span of 5 weeks...walked out of life...just like that. The end never felt so terribly possibly close. We know it can be anyone, anywhere at any time but now it feels like it can really be anyone, anywhere at any time...
When was the last time you gave your buddies and close friends a pat on the back "Damn good to see ya =)"? When was the last time you gave your loved ones a kiss or a hug "I love you"? When will the last time be actually the last time?
